the staff made me welcome as on my own. meals were lovely and good value.
my room 114-the window frame was black and mildew. the shower old and hard to turn on and patio slabs are dangerously lifted up.lift is scary.
It is situated in quite a quiet location
The beds were rather hard, and there were many small flights of stairs - difficult for people with walking difficulties. Also it was rather expensive.
Superb friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed, nice and quiet, a little bit dated but that is not an issue at this price, close enough to the nightlife but no late night street noises, I decided to check out early [ 6.30 am ] the night porter was great he even worried I was missing breakfast and offered to make me some coffee.
Poor water pressure spoilt the small but good bathroom as shower very very weak, .
The room is specious. Besides, it is comfortable.
I could not use internet in my room because the modem is not work. In addition, There are a few park for cars. It is an expensive.
In need of a spruce up,carpets dirty, furniture falling apart, shower unusable.
After a busy morning it was great to check in and then relax in the pool and jacuzzi which we had to ourselves, then have a quiet hour with a gin before going out for the evening. Oh and the breakfast was really good with very cheerful staff.
The breakfast was good
our room was grubby, tired and very smelly (the drain in the shower was blocked). We did not have any hot water, eventually we were given use of another room for showering on the Sunday morning.
Value for money hotel with efficient and friendly staff.
Small single rooms but adequate for short stay
staff very good and very helpfull.and close to town
good that it so close to town you can walk to and from.
Entertainment was excellent-far better than we expected. Food was very good.We would come here again and will recommend this hotel to all our friends.
Bath was very slippery -grab bar needed for safety after shower.
The food was good. You pool was disappointing, although I enjoyed the Spa. The pressure of the water at the shower was good, and there was hot water on demand. The room was a little small, but very reasonably priced.
The staff are very friendly and helpfull, the rooms are very well decorated and comfortable, everything is clean and well maintained. the facilities are excellent.
The welcome was excellent. Food is very good with nothing too much trouble to change if required. Menue variations very good. Staff very helpfull. Entertainment very good even in Winter. Excellent value for money. Would recommend.
Location and parking availability
Fine for what we wanted. Seemed an older clientele type of place - a blast from the past - nothing wrong with that though.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Location is great for me for town and beach and visiting family and very near a very good pub the Goat and Tricycle. Real Ale excellent.
I have a grudge about the price of hotels during the school holidays and feel they are not justified. Especially as I have no children.
